It is important that we do not confuse UHMWPE with High Density Polymer (HDPE) because HDPE does not show superior UHMWPE wear characteristics due to lower molecular weight. As the molecular weight of polyethylene increases, abrasion resistance and non-stick characteristics are improved. These liners are widely used throughout the world as ideal flow promotion liners.
